A 23-year-old has been charged with possession of a six-inch carving knife.
Daniel Thompson William Barker, of Anchor Road, Barrow, appeared before Furness Magistrates' Court yesterday. (26)
He was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Mr Trystan Roberts.
It is alleged that on March 14 Barker was in possession of a knife blade on Lancaster Street, Dalton.
The defendant did not give any indication of plea.
The case was adjourned until June 24 for a plea and case management hearing at Preston Crown Court.
Barker was released on unconditional bail until that date.
