A FIRE engine rushed to the aid of a Dalton woman who got her head trapped after falling down the stairs.
A crew of four were dispatched from Ulverston fire station to Greystone Lane in Dalton at 21:57 after a woman got her head trapped between the bannister of the stairs and the stairlift.
The woman was released by paramedics with no injuries by the time the firefighters had arrived meaning no action had to be taken.
