TWO weekend walks have been organised to help raise money for two worthy south Cumbrian causes.
Dalton mayor Councillor Ann Thurlow has arranged for two family-friendly outings to take place on following weekends.
The walks will will take around two hours will be a gentle tour through Dalton and the surrounding area.
The first walk will take place on Friday July 7 at 6pm, with walkers asked to assemble outside The Brown Cow, in Church Street shortly beforehand.
The second walk is on Friday July 14, with the meeting point in Tudor Square.
Donations are welcomed from anyone wanting to take part in the walk, with money raised being distributed between the Mayor's Charity, and Murphy's Miles.
