A WOMAN from Dalton is due to appear in court after allegedly being caught driving while more than three times the drink-drive limit.
Sarah Holme, of Ennerdale Close in Dalton, will appear at Furness Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. The 49-year-old has been charged with driving with excess alcohol.
It is alleged she drove a Nissan Micra in Greystone Lane on December 30 and provided a breath specimen with a reading of 122 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
