CHILDREN as young as four remembered The Fallen by taking part in a poignant Armistice Day service at Dalton cenotaph.
Youngsters from Chapel Street Infants and Nursery School took time out of lessons last Friday to pay tribute to the fallen in a public service led by reverend Ron Wilson.

Headteacher Angela Walton said: "This is my 26th year at the school and we've been coming here on Armistice Day every year that I've been here.
"We think it's really important that the children remember as it gives them an understanding of what is still going on across the world and we hope to carry this tradition on long into the future."
Year Two pupils Ella Washington and Corey Douglas also had a special role to play in proceedings as they laid a wreath on the cenotaph prior to a two-minute silence.
Dalton town councillor Ann Thurlow compiled a book which tells the back stories of the local servicemen whose names are on the town's war memorial.
She said: "It's great to get younger people engaged with remembrance and it's so moving to see them involved."
