POLICE have called for farmers to drive their tractors slower after a flurry of complaints from residents in Dalton.
The force says residents have raised concerns about "the speed and manner" of how the vehicles have been driven through the town in recent weeks.
All farmers are being asked to advise their workers and contractors to drive with more care.
PCSO Samantha Thomas added: "It has been brought to our attention that the tractors often have trailers attached and some of the load falls out of the trailers into the highway making the roads dangerous for other road users.
"Could I please ask that all farmers give words of advice to any farm worker or contractors that may be responsible."
