A 37-year-old man was in court today accused of downloading child porn.
Darren Farrell, is said to have made 30 category C indecent photographs/pseudo photographs of a child between January and August 2014, possession of a prohibited image of a child between the same dates.
Farrell is also accused of making five category B indecent photograph of a child and the possession of 35 indecent images of children during the same time frame.
The defendant, of Dalton, did not indicate any pleas to the charges.
He was released on conditional bail by Furness Magistrates' Court to appear before Preston Crown Court on September 9 for a plea and directions hearing.
Farrell's bail does not allowed any unsupervised contact with any child under the age of 16.
