Called off: The Balloons to Heaven event in September 2016
A FUNDRAISER for several local charities has been called off.
This Saturday, August 5, the Balloons to Heaven was scheduled to take place from 10am at the Newton Arms, in Dalton.
A Facebook post made on the event's page organisers announced it had been called off due to limited interest.
The synchronised balloon release was planned to raise money for St Mary's Hospice, the North West Air Ambulance and Barrow Community Kitchen.
