Dads will join kids on stage for Barrow show

BABIES and dads have been rehearsing their dance moves ahead of an annual extravaganza.

Members of Barrow dance group Dance Fusion have been working tirelessly to perfect every twist and turn in the run-up to the big opening night of their annual show.

A total of 100 dancers, ranging from five-month-old babies to dads in their 50s, will storm the stage to classic dance tunes from Dirty Dancing and hits from Tina Turner and Michael Jackson.

Carol-Anne Millis, 44, has been involved with the dance group for 22 years.

She said many hours of preparation and planning had gone into creating the best show possible.

However, the show is not solely for the glitz and glamour.

Mrs Millis said the event will be in aid of local charities, although they are yet to decide which one with be the benefactor.

Special guest artist, Beth Wilks, will also be making an appearance in the show.

The Dance Fusion show will be at The Forum in Barrow on November 27-28.
