Cyclist rescued on Cumbria mountain

A cyclist suffering from hypothermia in Cumbria was saved by a mountain rescue team

Pattersale Mountain Rescue Team were called to the scene on Dollywaggon Pike, Cumbria, at about 2.45pm on Saturday April 12 2014.

The rescue team was training with an RAF Seaking helicopter from Boulmer at the time of the call and were able to respond immediately.

The casualty was flown to the Cumberland Infirmary, in Carlisle, to be treated.
