Court date for Millom man who downloaded child abuse images

A DATE has been set for the sentencing of a Millom man who admitted making indecent images of children.

Chris Kershaw

Chris Kershaw, formerly of Festival Road, Millom, appeared before Preston Crown Court on Tuesday, where a date was set for his sentence.

Kershaw, 59, pleaded guilty to 15 separate counts of making indecent photographs of a child at Furness Magistrates’ Court on February 13.

The charge relates to downloading images, rather than taking photographs.

Kershaw, a former rugby coach and school janitor, will be sentenced in Preston Crown Court on May 15.
