THE line-up for the latest installment of Dog Fest has been announced.

Collie Stewart and The Roomers will be performing at Dog Fest

The all-day music festival made its debut at The Black Dog earlier this summer and returns to the pub near Dalton on Super Sunday, August 24.

The outdoor event will see a number of acoustic acts taking to the stage throughout the evening, before the full bands round out the event.

Charlotte Ducie will kick off proceedings around 2pm, before fellow youngsters Becki Fishwick, Jade Connolly and Hayden Thornborough all make solo appearances. A stripped-back unplugged version of indie outfit Haarts will round out the first half, with a DJ filling the gap while the stage is set for the evening.

Former Atlas pair The Coulton Brothers will play a set of mostly originals, while Harriet & Joe bring a host of covers to the mix. American singer-songwriter Chuck Fish whets the appetite for a rare appearance from Collie Stewart and The Roomers.

Psychedelic pop band Sad-Eyed Puffins are also there, playing just before Ulverston ska punk outfit Bad Transmission close proceedings around midnight.

This time around there will be an outdoor bar and a barbecue, with the usual selection of real ale and food available inside.
