POLICE are seeking witnesses and a second driver to come forward after a car crashed into a bingo hall.
A blue Citroen Saxo smashed into the outer wall of the Apollo Bingo and Social Club, in Hindpool Road, near Hollywood Park, Barrow, bringing down a brick column.
The incident happened at about 5.10pm on Tuesday, and the driver, a 19-year-old man from Barrow, was taken to Furness General Hospital with minor injuries but was not kept in.
Police said further information has been received that a white Vauxhall Corsa may have also involved.
Investigations are under way to trace the driver of the Corsa. Police have asked the Corsa driver, or anyone with information about this incident to contact PC Patsy Blakeborough on 101.
There have been allegations that two cars were racing in Hindpool Road, Barrow, immediately before the accident.

Every single person on the road has broken the speed limit at one point or another, so nobody can really critisize.

Have your say
Well said Bob. The driver of the Corsa actually witnessed the crash, stopped and helped the driver out of the car and stayed until the ambulance and police arrived. Don't some people jump on the bandwagon without the facts.
