Nearly there

and yet...

We awoke in Kirkby, Sherpa Hill had a coffee on the go and had been to the nearest supplier for banana and orange juice. Good man that Hill.

Decamped, we pushed and then pulled against dolly as she fought us downhill to Kirkby station. Another one stop on the train to avoid yet another scary stretch of road.

Plan all you like

I know this bloke called Andrew Wood, he builds the most enchanting sets, from ancient abbeys to Barrow AFC’s very own Holker street ground. The man is a genius and his designs are always practical, beautiful and fully sympathetic to the script.

Some are dragged up some are Broughton

Well the Royal Oak truly didn’t let us down. Fearing the oncoming chill and rain we adapted the show to fit the low ceiling of the pub.
