Recruits looked up to hero Barrow soldier, 23

TRIBUTES have been paid to a hero who died after coming under enemy attack in Afghanistan.

Have your say

So very very, sad to hear the tragic news of yet another Barrow Soldier losing his life whilst in the line of duty in Afghanistan. Need to get them out of that hell hole NOW!! before any more young lads and lasses die needlessly. It's time to bring them all home. Heartfelt sympathy to all his family & friends.I salute your bravery Dave, rest in peace. XXX

Thoughts go to his family and friends. Such sad news about such a brave young lad. The sooner they get our troops out of there the better. We got wot we we wanted and done wot we needed to do, now put our money n resources into sorting our own country out. RIP dave
