A BUS and a car have been involved in a crash on Walney this morning.
The Stagecoach bus and a silver Peugeot were reported to be involved in a collision on Biggar Bank Road around 11.20am.
Police and an ambulance were called to the scene.
A spokeswoman for the North West Ambulance Service said it was called to the scene of the crash near the Roundhouse Restaurant, close to the junction with Beach Crescent.
The ambulance service dealt with two patients, although no details were available of their injuries. One ambulance went to hospital after the crash, although it was unclear how many casualties it was carrying.
Both the bus and the car were damaged in the accident, with the car suffering severe damage to its front bumper and bonnet.
