Barrow pride in Hairy Bikers winning TV gong

TELLY cooks the Hairy Bikers have won a TV gong.
The duo of Barrow-born Dave Myers and Si King won the Best Food Show award at The TVChoice Awards, sponsored by Daz.
The Hairy Bikers' Bakeation show, beat off competition from Jamie's Great Britain, Saturday Kitchen and Gok Cooks Chinese.
The ceremony was held at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Monday night.
On Twitter the Hairy Bikers said: “Thanks to all who voted, it means a lot to us.”
