HOW many of these 82 pubs in Barrow and Walney which have been pulling pints for more than 130 years - many of which still are, have you been in?
By the 1880s Barrow was a bustling Victorian new town busting at the seams with new arrivals from all over the British Isles.
Most were ale houses with a licence to sell only beer. Ken Kerr, of Pennine Gardens, Barrow, has provided us with a detailed list of all the pubs and alcohol providers known to be in Barrow during 1882.
See if your local was one of the 1882 originals.
