Firework
FIREFIGHTERS have issued a stern warning after a firework was set off inside a phone box in a residential area of Barrow.
The crew from Barrow was called to Hartington Street at around 10.20pm last night after a resident had reported hearing a firework in the vicinity of a phone box.
On arrival, firefighters discovered a firework had been set off inside the phone box and warned people to take care when using fireworks.
A report of criminal damage has been passed to BT with any evidence from the scene to be passed to police.
