The work in Fenton Street, Barrow has been organised by Cumbria County Council to repair the surface of the road.

The road is likely to be reopened at 4pm this afternoon.
More resurfacing work, coined by the council as road "patching" due to the road not being dug up, is likely to be scheduled in other parts of Barrow after the bank holiday weekend.
