Tonight (Saturday night): Unsettled across parts of England and Wales with heavy showers and a risk of thunderstorms, although it may become drier and clearer in the far south.

Rather cloudy for Scotland and Northern Ireland with outbreaks of rain for a time.

Tomorrow (Sunday): Initial heavy rain in northern England will clear. There will then be a mixture of sunny intervals and well scattered showers across the UK, one or two of the showers perhaps heavy and thundery in places.

UK Outlook (Monday and Tuesday): On Monday, it will be fine and dry for most with sunny spells. However, cloud will thicken across western Scotland during the afternoon with rain edging in later. Another largely fine day on Tuesday with plenty of dry weather, although western Scotland will again be cloudier with rain and drizzle.
