Police in Vulcan Road, Barrow.
POLICE were out in force in Barrow tonight with members of the public reporting over 10 force cars and vans in the Vulcan Road/Salthouse Road area.
It is understood that around 6.30pm police were called to an incident in town.
An eyewitness reported seeing armed police near the junction of Vulcan Road and Salthouse Road.
Cumbria Police have been contacted for an update on the incident.
