A 53-year-old van driver has been charged with failing to report a town centre accident.
Lee Anthony Shaw is due to appear before Furness Magistrates' Court today.
The defendant, of Thornton Road, Morecambe, has been accused of failing to stop after a road accident, driving without due care and attention and failing to report an accident on February 24. It is alleged he was driving an Iveco van on Preston Street, Barrow, when he hit a
Toyota Yaris shunting it five meters backwards.
