A BARROW woman has been ordered to carry out unpaid work after two charges of theft.
Jacqueline Smith, 22, of Abbotsmead Approach, pleaded guilty to the offences when she appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow on February 21.
She stole a Michael Korrs handbag, iPhone X, driving licence, bank card and keys from Danielle Clarke, and an iPod Touch valued at £100 from Michael Chelton, on February 4.
Smith was handed a 12 month community order involving 150 hours of unpaid work. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.
