A MAN has been ordered to carry out unpaid work after a string of driving offences.
Adam James Thake, 24, of Niobe Street, Walney, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a sample of breath, and driving without a licence or insurance.
He also admitted possessing cannabis when after the incident on Niobe Street on January 8.
Appearing at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow on February 7, Thake was handed a 12 month community order for 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.
