BRIDGE Road in Barrow has now been re-opened following a traffic accident.
As of 9pm today (Monday September 25), eye witnesses confirmed police officers were moving cars through the area again.
At 8pm, police and paramedics had both been in attendance and the road was closed at either end. The closure had caused some backlog in the nearby area, with drivers using the neighbouring roundabout to change direction leading to congestion.
Police officers have confirmed two vehicles were involved in the incident.
