A BARROW man with dementia who went missing for several hours has been found after police launched an appeal to locate him.

Terrance Taylor, 63, suffers from dementia and had been missing since 8.20am this morning.

An appeal was launched shortly before 11:45am to find Mr Taylor after officers became concerned for his welfare.

Police confirmed that Mr Taylor had been found safe and well at 12:30pm and thanked the public for their help.
