A TRIAL date is to be set for a former teaching assistant who has been charged with stealing cash from the front office of a school.
Elizabeth Hall, 37, of Park Avenue, Barrow, pleaded not guilty to taking £34.30 which had been left in the school's front office by a parent at Parkside GGI Academy in Barrow.
The money was to pay for a child to go to an after school club while the parent is still at work.
Hall, who worked at the school for four years, has elected to have a trial by jury. She is due to appear at Preston Crown Court on Monday for a trial date to be fixed.
