TRAINS travelling between Barrow and Lancaster are returning to normal after earlier delays due to safety checks at Grange.
Trains had to run at reduced speeds and some Northern services were delayed.
The 12.13pm service from Barrow to Lancaster was earlier cancelled, with a coach made available for stranded passengers.
The 12.19pm service from Lancaster to Carlisle due at 4.04pm will be started from Barrow.
It will no longer call at Lancaster, Carnforth, Silverdale, Arnside, Grange-Over-Sands, Kents Bank, Cark, Ulverston, Dalton, Roose, Askam, Kirkby, Foxfield, Green Road, Millom, Silecroft, Bootle, Ravenglass For Eskdale, Drigg and Seascale.
Trains are now running normally between #Carnforth and Barrow-in-Furness following safety checks having being made between these stations.
