TEMPORARY traffic lights are today causing long delays in both directions on the A590 at Lindal.
The lights have been installed opposite Pennington Lane. Highways England said congestion is very heavy in both directions, stretching from Dalton to Ulverston.
One motorist told the Evening Mail that a sign at the site of the roadworks revealed the work was being carried out by United Utilities.
