A PROLIFIC teen shoplifter who admitted stealing goods from Topshop, Superdrug and Wilkos has appeared in court again after stealing a set of keys from a Barrow home.

The 15-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons appeared at Furness Magistrates' on Monday August 21 in relation to a total of 13 offences including theft and drunk and disorderly behaviour.

The teen, who is of no fixed abode, was issued with a number of youth rehabilitation orders- one for pleading guilty to entering the Devon Street property on April 25 and stealing a set of keys, and ten more in relation to offences previously dealt with by the court.

The theft offences previously committed included stealing four black crop-tops worth £24 from Topshop in Portland Walk, three cans of spray paint from Wilkos in Barrow, makeup from Superdrug worth £9.90, two sandwiches and a bottle of pop worth £6 from Co-op and a crate of Strongbow dark fruit cider worth £9.49 from B&M Bargains.

A number of youth referral orders had previously been issued by the court at various dates between March and May 2017 but were revoked in favour of the rehabilitation orders- the conditions of which must be met by August 18, 2018.

The teen was also ordered to pay a £20 fine in relation the trespassing charge.
