CONVENIENCE stores across south Cumbria are having to recall bags of sweets after realising they could contain small pieces of wood.
SPAR shops throughout the UK are having to recall bags of their own brand midget gems due to the fact they may be contaminated by small pieces of wood.

Shop bosses are warning customers that packets with the best before date of March 31 2017 may be affected.
No other SPAR products are believed to be contaminated.
The group has ten stores across the area, with four in Millom, three in Ulverston and three in Barrow.
