Today: Low cloud and hill fog will gradually lift across the Pennines, and after a clear and chilly start in some other areas, a largely dry day will follow across the region. Some warm spells of sunshine will also develop. Maximum Temperature 17 °C.
Tonight: It will be generally dry overnight with light winds and clear spells. However, patches of low cloud, mist and fog may develop later, especially over the Pennines. Minimum Temperature 9 °C.
Tomorrow: After a grey start in places most areas will have a dry day with some warm sunshine. However, a few showers are possible later, which may turn heavy and thundery. Maximum Temperature 19 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Sunshine and scattered heavy showers are likely on Sunday. Monday should begin fine, although wet and windy weather may spread from the east later, heralding an unsettled day on Tuesday.
