A GROUP of fundraising fell walkers have raised £2,650 and counting for their charity.
The LA14 Lakers took on 10 fells in 10 hours in aid of research into multiple sclerosis.
The friends and members of the Furness Group of the MS Society UK, were led by Dan Taylor, of Ulverston, who has MS and is a committee member of the Furness group. The weather was very blustery and challenging, and the course unforgiving, but 15 of the 18 strong team managed to finish the full course of 17.1 miles within the 10 hours.
The team will be doing an Everyday 10 in 10 on September 3, these are events done on a day of the team's choosing and are not marshalled. The team would interested to hear from anyone that wants to take part. More details are available at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/daniel-taylor45
