A SCHIZOPHRENIC Barrow man told a court he "just lost it" when he apologised for verbally abusing hospital staff.
Lee Francis Johnson, of Tay Court, appeared at Furness Magistrates' Court yesterday where he pleaded guilty to causing a nuisance and disturbance without reasonable excuse on an NHS premises.
The 47-year-old attended Dane Garth on September 9 where he became aggressive and verbally abusive to doctors and nurses before refusing to leave.
Michael Graham, defending, called Johnson's lifestyle "chaotic" and said he "thought he was a risk to himself."
Johnson was given a fine of £75 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.
