A BUSY Barrow road has reopened following a crash which saw one motorist taken to hospital.

A collision between BMW and a mini bus left Flass Lane blocked between Bridgegate Motorcycles and Tesco Metro, causing delays and queues this afternoon.

The road has now reopened after fears it would stay blocked well into this evening.

However the 30-year-old driver of the mini bus has been taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries and the 49-year-old BMW driver was treated at the scene.
