Road movement at Barrow shipyard postponed by a day due to bad weather
A ROAD movement at Barrow shipyard has been postponed by a day due to the weather.
BAE Systems was due to transport a heavy load from Associated British Ports to the Top Yard via Michaelson Road and Bridge Road on Tuesday.
However, the road movement will now take place at 2.15pm on Wednesday.
Car parking will be restricted along Bridge Road and the centre of Michaelson Road from midnight on Tuesday until after the move has taken place.
The movement will take approximately 30 minutes causing minor disruption to traffic.
