A MAN accused of causing the death of an elderly motorist is due to appear in court.
Richard Cupid, 31, denies causing the death of John Bromley, 81, by dangerous driving in the head-on collision on the A5087 coast road on May 17 2015. He admits causing death by careless driving.
Mr Bromley, who was driving a Ford Fiesta, died at the scene after the Transit van, driven by Cupid, veered on to the wrong side of the road.
The trial originally started in April, but was halted on day four due to legal difficulties with the case.
The case is listed to be heard at Preston Crown Court tomorrow at the prosecution's request to change the date of the retrial, which was originally set for October 30.
