A RESTRAINING order was revoked by magistrates - despite a plea to the contrary by the recipient.
Frank Bircher, 23, of Duncan Street, was the subject of a restraining order made on February 20 by his ex-girlfriend Nicole Goodwin. A similar order had been made and revoked in the past.
Appearing at Furness Magistrates Court, she applied to discharge the order to be friends for the sake of their children.
Bircher, however, wrote to the court to ask the application be rejected, claiming his ex-girlfriend was "invading his privacy."
Magistrates revoked the order on Miss Goodwin's request.
