A STUDY published today has revealed that patient satisfaction with GPs has fallen to its lowest ever rate.

Public ratings of all NHS services have been falling since a high in 2010, but the biggest fall was in GP care, which the British Social Attitudes Survey found had gone down from 80 per cent in 2009 to 69 per cent last year - the lowest since they survey began in 1983.

In response to today's Evening Mail debate, it appears our online audience is almost evenly divided in their views.

As of 4pm today, 53% of our online voters said that they were satisfied with their GP, whilst 47% said that they were not.
