Northern Rail train at Lancaster
REPLACEMENT bus services are in effect between Ulverston, Barrow and Whitehaven due to improvement work this weekend.
Alternative timetables have been issued as work crews make improvements to the line run by Northern.
The work is part of a £1 billion investment scheme by Northern to improve the network.
Disruption will last until 11.26pm on Sunday evening. A replacement bus service is running in both directions between Whitehaven and Ulverston.
