CCTV images released by police
Police in Barrow have released CCTV images after a woman was subjected to a terrifying attempted robbery.
Police want to speak to the person pictured in connection with an attempted robbery which occurred at around 8.50am on Friday November 11.
A woman was walking alone on Abbey Way, near to the student accommodation at Furness General Hospital, when she was approached from behind and restrained while an attempt was made to steal her phone.
Anyone who recognises the individual pictured, or has any information which can assist the investigation, is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
