POLICE are investigating an attempted burglary at a Barrow home.
The break-in is believed to have happened some time between 8.30am on Wednesday September 28 and 5.30pm on Friday September 30 at a house in Friars Lane , close to the junction with Provincial Street.
Police said the burglar attempted to break in via a back door and also entered a shed in the garden but was unable to gain access and nothing was stolen.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 145 of October 2 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
