Police investigate alleged rape in Barrow
POLICE are investigating an alleged rape in Barrow.
Barrow CID said they received a report of an alleged rape at a property in Barrow in the early hours of Saturday.
Police said a woman was being assisted by trained officers.
Police confirmed that an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape and was bailed to attend Barrow police station next month.
Police said enquiries are ongoing.
