POLICE have released descriptions of two men they want to speak to after a series of car break-ins and criminal damage on Barrow Island.

Damage was caused to a number of vehicles parked in James Watt Terrace, Ramsden Dock Road, Andover Street and Athol Street on Barrow Island between 7am and 9am on Saturday.

A Kia Picanto and a Vauxhall van on James Watt Terrace were damaged. A Nissan Pixo on Ramsden Dock Road and a Fiat Seicento on Athol Street were also damaged. Items were also stolen from a Volkswagen van on Andover Street.

Police want to speak to two men - one was white, aged 20, of slim build and was wearing a dark jacket with the hood up and a cap. The second man was white, aged 20, of slim build and was wearing a dark jacket which had reflective stripes on the back.
