POLICE were called out to two separate incidents of groups of youths lobbing eggs at passing cars and properties in Barrow.

Last night, police were called to Harrison Street in Barrow at 9pm after children were spotted throwing eggs at passing cars.

This comes just a day after police were called to a similar incident between 7pm and 8pm on Tuesday November 1 after youths threw eggs at a house in Dane Avenue, Barrow.

No descriptions have been given by police for who is responsible for either incident due to the darkness.

There have been no reports of any damage caused to the property in Dane Avenue or to any of the cars passing through Harrison Street.

Police are asking members of the public to keep an eye out for any future incidents of egg throwing to see if there is an identifiable pattern and report any trouble by calling them on 101.
