HUGE tailbacks are being reported on the A590 between Ulverston and Barrow.
Motorists have said that traffic is stretching all the way back to the Booths roundabout in Ulverston on the westbound carriageway of the A590, while delays are also being reported heading out of Barrow as a result of shipyard finishing times.
The delays are understood to be caused by temporary traffic lights on the A590 at Lindal, where work is being carried out to prevent future flooding at the Lindal Dip.
The lights are set to be in place for another five weeks.
