A MOPED was left nothing more than a mass of twisted and burnt metal after being stolen from a Barrow street.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman's moped was stolen overnight from Stewart Street.
A Lexmoto Gladiator 125 moped belonging to Emma Sims, of Stewart Street, was stolen during the night between Wednesday and Thursday.
The moped, which Miss Sims had only owned for four months, was later found burnt out close by in the neighbouring Cameron Street.
Anyone with information should contact police immediately.
