A WOMAN from Millom has been charged with shoplifting after allegedly stealing groceries from Asda in Barrow worth £278.86.
Sophie Laura Ellwood, of Crown Street in Millom, is due to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old is accused of two counts of shoplifting from Asda in Barrow.
She is alleged to have stolen items worth £150 from the supermarket on January 17 and items worth £128.86 on January 24.
