THE family and friends of a well-known theatre impresario have come together to organised a concert in his memory.
Former councillor David Marcus died earlier this month after battling Parkinson’s disease for several years.
A fitting tribute in the form of a concert featuring some of his favourite musicals and pantomime has now been planned for the 68-year-old who was described as someone who "loved, slept and ate theatre".
The concert, which will raise money for local charities, will take place at The Forum in Barrow on September 8 and 9.
Anyone who would like to get involved is asked to contact John Edwards by emailing john_edwards_96@hotmail.com or calling 07964 950851.
